Summit’s Requirements
In order to become a delegate and participate in the 7th International Youth to Youth Summit 2022, you should:
- be a citizen of any country in the world with a valid travel document
- be between 17 and 37 years old (there could be exceptions based on the excellence of the candidates)
- demonstrate strong interpersonal and leadership skills
- have a passion to create positive social change, and play a bigger role in your community development
- have a good level of written and spoken English (not less than intermediate)
- demonstrate your willingness to invest in Y2Y Alumni Network’s development
- pay application and participation fee (application fee will be deducted from the participation fee of successful candidates)
Summit’s Funding
There are two ways to take part in the Summit:
Self-funded (apply, get selected, pay the participation fee according to your category, and sort out your travel to the Summit!) Y2Y is ready to support your fundraising efforts by providing you with all the necessary paperwork;
Partially-funded (apply, ensuring you are an outstanding candidate with a socially-innovative project ready to compete in the pitching contest, get selected, pay 50% of the participation fee according to your category, and sort out your travel to the Summit!)
Once selected, delegate requires to pay the participation fee within 7 days to secure their spot at the event. REMEMBER! Application fee is non-refundable, though it’s deducted from the participation fee of selected candidates.
Participation fees
Youth to Youth Initiative is a volunteer-based organization and runs on a non-commercial basis, keeping delegate’s fee low, just enough to cover your accommodation, daily allowance and local transportation during the event.
